North Carolina has the third-highest healthy pet euthanasia rate in the country — a heartbreaking statistic that can be changed. At Humane Solution, we believe the most powerful way to reduce and ultimately end healthy pet euthanasia is through accessible spay and neuter services.

Humane Solution invites you to our first-ever gala as we proudly celebrate 25 years of community impact! For a quarter-century, we’ve provided low-cost spay and neuter vouchers to low-income pet guardians and caretakers of community (feral) cats—preventing suffering before it begins.

A Bold Step Forward in Our 25-Year Journey

While Humane Solution has been working to end pet overpopulation for over 25 years, last year marked a transformative milestone. We took a bold step forward by opening our own surgical facility — The Solution Spay-Neuter Clinic — allowing us to dramatically expand our reach and impact. Since opening our spay-neuter clinic in July 2024, we’ve already 'fixed' over 1,730 animals—but we’re just getting started. All funds raised will go directly toward medical expenses for spay-neuter services—supporting our mission to reduce pet overpopulation, improve animal welfare, and expand our operations bringing us closer to ending healthy pet euthanasia and pet homelessness in our community.
